May 16, 2024 a roundtable discussion titled “Intercultural Communication in the Age of Fluid Modernity” was held as part of the Jean Monnet Module Erasmus+ project “European Studies of Intercultural Communication: the EU experience for Ukraine” No. 101126800 — EuCultCom — ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH. The event featured discussions on theoretical and practical issues related to various aspects of intercultural communication, the dialogical potential of European border regions, and the problems of cultural conflicts, genocides, and ethnic cleansing. Roundtable participants examined specific examples of European intercultural communication, such as the Slovak-Ukrainian dialogue in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
